How to choose between Crystal, Marshal and Sapphire

These three Sonex designer models are listed with a 56-inch sweep, a BLDC motor and approximately 5–45W power consumption across their operating range. Start with the finish and model price, then confirm the specifications and installation fit for your room.

  • Crystal: choose Black or Brown. At the prices checked above, it has the lowest listed price of these three models.
  • Marshal: choose Dark Wood or Light Wood when you want a wood-inspired finish to coordinate with doors and furniture. These finish names do not mean the blades are solid wood.
  • Sapphire: choose Brown or Black and compare its design photographs with Crystal before deciding which suits your ceiling and room.

Compare all three in the designer ceiling-fan collection. A higher price alone does not prove more airflow or quieter operation; ask for model-specific evidence if either is central to your decision.

Match the finish to your interior

Dark fans create contrast on a pale ceiling and can coordinate with black lighting or window frames. Light finishes blend more quietly into the ceiling. Wood-inspired finishes can pick up the tones of furniture and doors. Check the actual finish photographs for the variant you order.

Plan the fan and lighting together. Keep the fan clear of decorative fittings, ceiling details and tall furniture. A visually large fan may dominate a compact room; mounting suitability should come before styling.

What the premium price buys

Compare model-specific design, materials, controls and documented motor specifications. A higher price does not establish a particular noise level or airflow. Crystal, Marshal and Sapphire are listed with BLDC motors and a 5–45W operating range; these product specifications are not independent test results.

Choose for the room and daily use

  • Measure the room and check ceiling height, mounting position and blade clearance with your installer.
  • For bedrooms and home offices, compare control options and documented operating power at the speeds you expect to use.
  • For drawing rooms, compare the actual colour and finish alongside furniture and lighting.
  • For several matching rooms, confirm the full quantity of the same model, colour and power option before buying.

Frequently asked questions

Should every room use the same designer fan?

Only if the same model suits each room. Matching bedrooms can share a finish while the lounge or drawing room uses a different design.

Are all premium fans fixed at 30W?

No. A series name is not a constant consumption measurement. Review the power range for the exact model.
